The 2026 to 2027 round has closed: applications opened March 30, 2026 and closed May 7, 2026 in person and May 10, 2026 online. The page gives no dates for the next round yet; it encourages people not accepted to reapply next year.
A scholarship from Toronto Community Housing (TCHC) and its developer partner Tridel for Regent Park tenants in college, university, a trade school or other training, full time or part time, in person, online or hybrid. Winners get up to $3,000 toward tuition, paid to the school, and a $500 bursary paid to them for books and costs such as transportation. One person can get up to $10,000 in total over the revitalization, while funds last.

For whomTCHC tenants of the Regent Park community, living there now or relocated because of the revitalization, aged 17 and older, who are starting or taking post-secondary studies or training, can show financial need and community involvement or leadership, and are in good standing on rent. Through its Confronting Anti-Black Racism Strategy, TCHC says it is committed to creating and prioritizing access to scholarships that Black-identifying tenants can take part in.

When it opens, fill in every part of the application form: a panel scores each required part, with applicant names hidden. For one-on-one help with the forms or your personal or financial statements, email TalkRegentPark@TorontoHousing.ca to book a session, or visit 530 Dundas St. E. on Mondays and Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you win, tuition is paid to your school once an invoice is provided, and the $500 bursary is paid to you on proof of enrolment.
