- For whomPeople who are at least 60 years old and have made at least one valid contribution to the CPP, from work in Canada or from credits shared by a former spouse or common-law partner after a separation or divorce. You can start at 60 with a smaller payment (0.6% less for each month before 65, up to 36% less), at 65, or as late as 70 with a bigger payment (0.7% more for each month after 65, up to 42% more).

No online account: fill out form ISP-1000 and mail it to Service Canada. For postal codes starting with L, M or N the address is Service Canada, PO Box 5100 Station D, Scarborough ON M1R 5C8. Have your Social Insurance Number and your bank details for direct deposit ready.
